OVEREATING BKK TRIP 101

HI GUYS I'M BACK!! AND NOW I'M GOING TO DO A SUPER DETAILED BLOG POST ABOUT MY WHOLE TRIP BECAUSE IT IS MY FIRST TIME GOING WITH A FRIEND :) :) :)

FRIGGIN EAT SO MUCH THE WHOLE TRIP, STOMACH BLOAT UNTIL.. OMG. HAHA MORE LATER.

So.. First day!!:)

We met at the airport at around 6am cos the flight was at 7. My dad sent me, and sop's 'dad' sent her. Basically Sop slept thru-out the flight there cos she was working the day before, I was plugged in and watching my top/big bang baby.

Finally reached after 2 hours(about there), got transferred and here we are!! We stayed at a quaint, family-like hotel, which means sorta-budget hotel called P2 Boutique. But I really don't mind cos the rooms are nice and it's near Platinum Mall, where we shopped like crazy.

Rested, watched 54, Celestial Movies, which is what we watch every night after shopping, or channel 28, Sony Entertainment Television, with damn limited shows.

Then off to,

Our very first meal in bkk,

Her tom yum soup thing plus my very yummy fried rice, obviously not shown here.

At night, we took the stupid tuk tuk to...

Suan Lum night market! OMG THE AMOUNT WE EAT IS A JOKE.

SO WE ORDERED +HUGE PHAD THAI +5 CHICKEN WINGS +RICE but the wings were so friggin awesome we ordered +12 CHICKEN WINGS altogether and we finished everything.

DAY 2

Sorry dont know why I look so horrible here hahaha. We woke 'early', went to San Paeng(Chinatown) to shop for accessories.

I show you the 3 baht rings we got!!!:)

TADAH, yup we got a little carried away, but it's friggin 3 baht!!!!!!!!!!!!

Off to Platinum to shop AGAIN. We were damn hungry so we had kfc so lunch first. + mango sticky RICE for dessert.

Shopped till 5/6 plus, then guess what, WE FELT LIKE EATING THE CHICKEN WINGS AGAIN. OMG I HAVE TO TYPE OUT IN CAPS WHAT WE ATE THAT NIGHT.

10 CHICKEN WINGS + 4 SPRING ROLLS + RICE

EACH PERSON OK!!!

and for dessert we ate mango sticky rice AGAIN

In our room after a long day,

DAY 3

Platinum Mall to shop AGAIN AND AGAIN, that place is amazing. though i wont say the same for the service, but whatever.

What we had for lunch:

Me -

rice + minced meat egg thing

mango sticky rice

Sop -

fried rice

mango sticky rice

We got our free dinner at P2 Boutique at around 6 plus,

Then we went to Pontip's A&W!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I LOVE A&W, SIGH WHY ISNT THERE ONE IN SG. ANYWAY SO WE HAD 3 CHICKEN STRIPS + 1 SMALL FRIES + 1 LARGE FRIES + 1 ROOT BEAT EACHHHH OMG WE REALLY LOOKED LIKE HUNGRY PIGS.

ok and that's not all.

at night we bought chips + cup noodles to eat :) and we did. omg really becoming one friggin ball already. look at our happy faces

Haven't had a wordy entry since... I can't even remember when. I shall talk about how I spent my week. Oh bloody hell, I can't recall anything. Let me tell you about my day then. Woke up at 11 to Hannah's barking, she's such a good wake-upper I promise. Bathed and got dressed, rushed to church. Said hello to the one above, and went for mass. Today's sermon was on prophets, how we're all called to be prophets, how we are all secretly capable. I heard a quote the other day, I forgot from where, but it kind of struck me? "We are judged not by our abilities but what we choose to do." Yes it's true, I'm a fool. Just hope things will be fine again ;)

Off to visit grandmother, she's so skinny I feel so sad each time I visit her. Wish I could feed her, made a mental note to buy food everytime I visit. Will be fetching her home if all goes well this weekend. Can't wait! Wanted to eat at Arnolds but it was sooooo full we gave up, off to Katong's Astons. I just had to... quarrel with my father, screwing the whole happy atmosphere before that. Well, he just had to... talk about me and my lousy money management. Sigh I need to control myself. But Oschool's only one hundred and twenty, then he just had to talk about piano and how much or little I practise. So basically to sum things up, it was a very awkward and quiet meal with me plugged in starring at the mini screen of my ipod, cutting the chicken angrily. He kept staring at his phone, at who knows what.

Home, called Socks to see what she was up to. I had Topshop fever, it was like a craving, I just had to go somehow, by hook or by crook. : > and I got my wish! We met half an hour later in the last section of the train, and off we went to Raffles City for some toppieshoppieluv. There was a sale going on, it was awesome. I got a dress, two crop tops and leggings. Had the sausage and mash thing from British Takeaway while she munched on her red bean thing. She is soooo healthy. I liked the Yoguru ice cream we got though, it was hugeee. For $3.80, it was so worth it. No hole in the middle like Yami Yoghurt or Frolick. Took the bus home, talked about weird and funny things like discussing the widths of our head, and a certain 'obsessed' girl and just random stuff.

Going running tomorrow, I better not give up halfway. Must do, will do, can do. : > It's time to be skinny and fit into all my pretty clothes.

Hello world, I'm a har peeee girl today, caught up with Socks:) and watched the loveliest movie ever, the healthy woman teared as usual. She appears so cold on the outside, but deep down inside I know you're a softie you ding dong!! :) The plot's so touching, wonder why I didn't cry.
It was nice spending time! Can't wait for saturday pig :)

Then went to super ulu pp to meet Mama, so last minute. Hahaha her parents were out so like yeah we tried to learn the Hoedown Throwdown, so coolio :) I wanna master it, it's actually quite basic hahahahaha, then watched ddlovato's videos. She's so into her it's crazy. Maybe you're gay like... Hahahah k, just kidding

Anyway I don't mean for this post to be wordy but there are a few things I thought about while on the way to meet Socks today.
I think I've really low self-esteem? Hahaha I feel so ugly all the time it's insane, I don't like society, I think people are scary. I know, it's the inner beauty that counts and all, but hey society's so different now. It's like everyone, YEAH LIKE EVERY SINGLE PERSON in this society cares about looks. Or maybe it's our age?? I don't know. Maybe as I'm getting older, I'm starting to realise that image means alot? Like when we were younger and things were much simpler, no one cared. People were happy with billabong tops and boardshorts. But looking back now, you wonder how you ever got through that phase.
Like everyone's so judgemental, if you only had one day, when let's say you decide to dress down and wear something not-so-pretty, people would start to speculate if you can dress at all... Why is it becoming so important? Why are we all so effing obsessed? Why are we all becoming so critical? It's really scary. People treat other people differently based on look. First impression/ how much you're gonna like the person = based on look.
I don't know, I just am feeling so inferior, and I get scared when people look at me, in trains, in buses, everywhere. I stand there awkwardly, and start to rub my face to see if maybe it's dirty, check if my coffee shop is open, check if I've stained my shorts, yeah you can call me crazy-conscious, but trust me, I bet you've been there.
I wish Singaporeans knew how to keep their eyes to themselves.
I know it's easy to tell everyone to not care about what others think, but that's not true.
Some of you may say there are more important issues than that, more important than superficial things like looks, but seriously, if Obama was only 134cm and fat and has oily skin and balding, do you think he'd even be president?
The answer is no. He totally looks the deal.
Some of you may say but the people around you love you, you just need love and faith to go on.
Well, I know love and faith keeps you going, but what if reality keeps coming back to break you down over and over again?
I hate our society, I hate everything about the people living in Singapore, right now.
I know it's fun to criticize someone's outfit esp if they really can't dress, I'm guilty of smirking too, but it's scary if the people you talk about are actually talking about you the exact same way.

You know what, let's all just be happy hobos :)

It's been nine months and still, I cry every night. It's only in the quiet I think of you, think of how you used to be, think of how we used to be. The dinners, the picnics, the hammocks, the priceless smiles and hugs, I miss you so much. It still hurts. No one can ever understand how it feels. After so long, it still feels like half of my heart has been wrenched away. I would give anything to turn back time. Are you here with me, now? I don't know how to explain this, but it is so painful. I'd really throw away everything I have to spend just one day with you again. I really miss you so much :( Nothing can make me happy. I feel like everyday I put on this mask, this facade that I'm so cheery I'm afraid I'm afraid they will see through me one day and they might leave too... I hate when people leave. I really hate it. No matter how much I shop and shop and I buy and buy, I know it's just to try to get over things. I'm never really happy. I really need you, Lord. You know how it feels like to be stuck in one place, over and over again? Despite being in different places and situations all the time, this heart stays the same all the time. The scars are still being revisited all the time.

Hello world, I had an awesome but super tiring day!! : ) Am so happy today. Went to www with Sopluv:) And you know what, some nice woman gave us free tix!!! Omg so we saved like fifteen bucks each, cheap thrill but seriously we're so lucky.

nice locker guy + indian woman cleaning her child's shit in the sink(ew x 1000) + going down the white water raft float thing screaming + conquering heights with the stupid sky rider + felt like it was going to fall off + crazy V ride (omg cant believe we rly did it) + dragging the float up + laughing fits + slow poks + jamming up the ride + "give you guys fast ride ok?" "NOOOO PLEASE NOOOOOO" + wave pool + "hi do you wanna take a picture with us" "huh" + cute little nice smile china boy + looking at the reflection only to find the locker worker haha so funny (sop tsk tsk)

My title says it all :) It's been a super longggggggg day though. Had school from 9 to like 4:30 since the itb teacher says it's family day. Haha he's so funny.
